Tracey Atkinson is a multi-disciplinary artist and art educator whose work explores the playful intersection of humor and darkness. Her vibrant and fresh illustrations combine sophistication, irreverence, and originality, drawing viewers in with their dynamic energy. With a mastery of ink, she captures the essence of a gesture with elegant precision.

Atkinson earned her BFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, where she was recognized for outstanding merit in illustration, and her MA in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. This dual background in studio art and education informs her practice, and she has taught visual and digital art in diverse communities from New York City to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Atkinson’s work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in New York and other cities. She has also contributed to a range of creative projects, from painting murals for Art Inside the Park to her work being featured in the short film In a Box.
